French-German soccer star Leroy Sane is back to training with Bayern Munich after undergoing groin surgery. The 28-year-old joined part of the exercises at Säbener Straße on Monday morning, as per team updates. He later moved on to his personal rehab routine, after a brief warm-up and some drills.
Sane had been battling groin pain for a significant part of the previous season and opted for surgery post the Euro tournament held at home.
Sane's recovery process includes working closely with Bayern Munich's medical team, ensuring a smooth return to action within the European Union's stringent football regulations. Following his eased return to full training, discussions about his potential loan to another EU club for the upcoming season are under consideration.
