The rise in reallocations in the Free State has averaged 3.3% in the second quarter, majorly attributed to income adjustments exempt from taxes and contributions, alongside greater wage increases, as per the State Statistics Office's reports.
When it comes to raw wage growth, there was a 6.0% surge compared to the same quarter the preceding year. With an annual inflation rate of 2.6%, this translates into a genuine 3.3% increase.
Service sector workers received a 6.8% wage boost, whereas industry employees witnessed only a 4.8% nominal wage rise. The wages for full-time employees grew marginally more than those for part-time employees. The State Statistics Office conducted surveys involving approximately 6,400 companies in sectors such as industry, construction, retail, service trades, fishing, agriculture, and forestry, in a representative sample from the Bavarian region.
Real wages, adjusted for inflation, have seen a notable increase due to the higher wage growth and lower inflation rates. As a result, real wages have risen by approximately 3.3% over the year.
