For the investigations, the department for combating organized crime is responsible. Until late morning, there were no indications of possible perpetrators. Prime Minister Gabriel Attal spoke of "prepared and coordinated sabotage acts" against SNCF installations. According to the French railway, it concerns arson attacks on cables with glass fiber, which are necessary for train operation.

Attal participated in a noon meeting at the Crisis Center of the Transport Ministry. He intended to make statements to journalists afterwards.

The Public Prosecutor's Office has been notified of the suspected sabotage acts against SNCF installations. The sabotage could lead to significant crime, including damage to essential train cables with glass fiber. The Sabotage Act will likely come into play as authorities investigate these incidents in Paris. Gabriel Attal emphasized the need for strict Freedom punishment for anyone found responsible for these acts. If the sabotage continues, it could significantly impact the railway system, leading to delays and damage to goods transported by train.
