3rd league - Saarbrücken sign defender Sonnenberg from Almelo
Football-Third league team 1. FC Saarbrucken has reinforced its squad with Sven Sonnenberg. The 25-year-old defender joins from Dutch first division side Heracles Almelo to Saarland. The club made no statements regarding the transfer fee or contract duration. Last season, the central defender made 25 appearances. Prior to that, Sonnenberg played for Hansa Rostock for two years in the 3. Liga.
