A young goalkeeper named David Mutter has finished assembling the squad of the lower-level football club, 1. FC Saarbrücken, for the upcoming season. The 18-year-old ex-U19 athlete recently signed his first professional contract. Though the club's announcement didn't mention the length of this contract, Mutter is now an official part of the team along with Philip Menzel and Tim Paterok. In his own words, he expressed his excitement and gratitude for building strong bonds with the experienced squad members and his coach, Michael Weirich, who would be helping him learn and improve.
