Third-tier football club 1. FC Saarbrücken suffered their first home defeat of the season. In their second game, they lost 0:1 to SV Sandhausen in front of 12,749 spectators. Dominic Baumann scored the winning goal for the visitors in the 64th minute. Despite their opening win against 1860 Munich, FCS remain on three points.
