Traffic - S-Bahn trains run again between Rostock and Warnemünde
After a five-week closure, S-Bahn trains are now running again between Rostock and Warnemünde. "The S-Bahn is running again, everything is clear again and everything is back to normal," said a Deutsche Bahn spokeswoman on Monday. The S-Bahn trains had not been running on the line since the end of October due to construction work. During this time, the track systems in Rostock-Bramow were completely modernized and extensive track and underground cable construction work was carried out. The city of Rostock also used the closure period to renovate two district heating bridges. The Rostock-Warnemünde S-Bahn line is used daily by thousands of commuters who have had to switch to buses in recent weeks.
