- Rural dwelling in Neuburg undergoes devastating fire.
A farming facility situated in Neuburg am Rhein, under the jurisdiction of Germersheim district, went up in flames during the night. As per the police's report, the blaze within the isolated facility was reported approximately at 10:30 PM. Firefighters managed to put out the flames by around 3:30 AM. Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
The authorities mentioned that several vehicles and trailers were housed within the facility, some of which were entirely destroyed. Preliminary estimates put the damage at approximately 120,000 euros. The origin of the fire remains under investigation.
The farm manager immediately notified the local emergency services upon discovering the fire. Due to the potential for the fire to spread to nearby structures, an emergency evacuation plan was implemented in the surrounding area.
