Murdoch's Sun newspaper shared images of the 93-year-old Australian billionaire and his 67-year-old spouse, Elena Zhukova - a retired molecular biologist - at their Bel-Air, California vineyard, where the wedding happened.
Zhukova is the mother of art collector Dasha Zhukova, who was previously married to Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich.
Rupert Murdoch controlled Fox Corporation and News Corp, two massive media organizations with holdings like the Wall Street Journal, Sky News, and Fox News, for decades. With a net worth of $9.77 billion (as of Bloomberg's Billionaire Index), he declared in November 2023 that he would relinquish his role as chairman of both businesses, turning the responsibility over to his son Lachlan. Even now, Murdoch remains as chairman emeritus for both companies, keeping some involvement.
