Bundesliga 2 - Rostock's Brumado banned for four matches

Second-division soccer team Hansa Rostock has further weakened itself in the relegation battle in the 2nd Bundesliga: attacker Junior Brumado has been suspended for four games due to his red card. This was announced by the German Football Association on Friday. The governing body's control committee deemed the foul on Schalke's Blendi Idrizi in the 40th minute on Sunday to be rough play.

Brumado had used his elbow too violently in a duel with Idrizi shortly before the 28-minute interruption as a result of the rioting in the stands. Referee Nicolas Winter first showed a yellow card, but after viewing the video footage, he decided on red.
