A roof truss fire in Landau, Pfalz, caused significant damage during the night on Sunday. According to the police, the residents of the multi-family house were temporarily relocated. The fire reportedly broke out late on Saturday evening around 11:30 PM. The fire department was able to prevent the flames from spreading to other buildings. The police initially estimated the damage to be around 250,000 Euros. "The cause of the fire is the subject of criminal police investigations," the statement read.

The fire department from Rhineland-Palatinate swiftly responded to the roof truss fire in Landau, Palatinate. Their operation managed to contain the fire, preventing it from spreading to neighboring buildings. On Sunday, the affected residents were temporarily housed elsewhere due to the fire damage. The fire department's efforts to investigate the cause of the fire on the roof truss resulted in the involvement of the criminal police.
