- Roof and barn catch fire
During a nighttime storm, a two-family house in Ludwigshafen, Pfalz, caught fire. The fire started in the attic, according to police. Firefighters managed to control the blaze. A lightning strike is not ruled out, but the exact cause of the fire is still being investigated.
