Rolling Stones announce "Hackney Diamonds" tour

Their last tour was actually in 2022 for their 60th anniversary. But the Stones are going one better. The three of them will now play in North America from April.

Rolling Stones announce "Hackney Diamonds" tour

The Rolling Stones just can't let it go. Following the success of their new album "Hackney Diamonds", the rock'n'roll legends have announced another tour for next year. From April to July, Mick Jagger (80), Keith Richards (79) and Ronnie Wood (76) plan to play a total of 16 concerts in North America. The tour kicks off on April 28 in Houston, Texas. The last concert for the time being is scheduled for June 17 in Santa Clara, California. Tour dates for Europe have not yet been announced.

Jagger had already hinted at the plans in October on the occasion of the release of "Hackney Diamonds", which reached number one in the album charts in the UK, Germany and numerous other countries. "We hope to go on tour," the restless Stones frontman told the German Press Agency in an interview. "And I hope we'll play some of the new songs."

In addition to new songs such as "Angry" or "Mess It Up", popular classics such as "Start Me Up", "Gimme Shelter", "Jumpin' Jack Flash" and "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" would not be missing from next year's shows, the Rolling Stones promised in an announcement about the "Hackney Diamonds" tour on their official website.

In October, the Stones performed in front of invited guests at the New York club "Racket NYC". Their last tour to date was in the summer of 2022 to celebrate the band's 60th anniversary. As part of the "Sixty Tour", the legendary rock band played 14 concerts in Europe, including three in Germany. Jagger and Co. played their very first concert as the Rolling Stones in July 1962 at the Marquee Jazz Club in London.
