Rocket alert in northern Israel - Hezbollah: Drones and 200 rockets fired
According to the Israeli army, the high-ranking Hezbollah commander in question was the commander of the Asis Unit of the militia, "responsible for shelling Israeli territory from the southwestern Lebanon."
The military announced that, in response to Hezbollah's shelling, targets in South Lebanon would be put in the crosshairs. After "numerous projectiles and suspicious aerial targets from Lebanon" landed on Israeli territory, the Israeli forces would now launch "strikes in South Lebanon." The military added that most of the projectiles fired from Lebanon had been intercepted. However, fires had broken out in some areas in Northern Israel.
