Illegality - Robbery occurs at a strawberry stand.
In Schleswig-Holstein once more, a strawberry vendor suffered a robbery. On Monday afternoon in Wangels (a district in East Holstein), an unidentified person compelled the 21-year-old to surrender the day's revenue at knifepoint from his strawberry stall, police revealed on Tuesday. Thankfully, the vendor remained unscathed and immediately alerted the authorities.
The robber had approached the stall from behind and rapped on the door. The vendor, anticipating a delivery, had opened the door without suspicion to the robber. The culprit scampered off with a relatively small sum of cash. Despite efforts, the initial search operation turned up no results.
Over the past week, unknown perpetrators inflicted damages in the thousands of euros through strawberry thefts in Malente (a district in East Holstein) and Lübeck.
