At a burglary in a single-family house in Bad Homburg, the perpetrators tied up the housewife. The woman was not physically harmed, the Wiesbaden Police Presidium announced on Thursday. According to initial investigations, three masked men had entered the house through a terrace door on a Wednesday morning. They overpowered the woman and tied her up with cable binders. When another household member returned home, the yet unknown perpetrators escaped with a stolen handbag. The police did not share further details about the burglary at first.

The burglary took place in the affluent town of Bad Homburg, which is located in the German state of Hesse. The detached house where the crime occurred is part of the RHEIN-MAIN region. Despite the disturbing incident, the woman, who is the housewife, was fortunate enough to avoid physical harm. The men involved in the robbery, wearing masks, had initially targeted the lady and her belongings.
