- Roaming Kangaroo Inside Building
In the heart of Halle, a freed-up kangaroo causes a stir. The animal was detected by a bus driver at roughly 5:00 AM and alerted the authorities. As reported, operational units were sent to Delitzscher Street, located in the eastern part of the city, to apprehend it, but initial attempts were unsuccessful. By noon, the kangaroo was still on the loose. As per a police representative, the animal hails from a nearby alpaca ranch. This was initially reported by "Volksstimme."
The authorities considered deploying resources towards Delitzscher Street, as they believed the kangaroo might head there due to its proximity to other open spaces. Despite the kangaroo being an exotic creature, local residents expressed concerns about its safety and that of their pets, as they were unfamiliar with its behavior.
