Road cycling championships in the Black Forest again in 2024
The German Road Cycling Championships will once again be held in the Black Forest. From 21 to 23 June next year, the event for men, women and young riders will once again take place in Bad Dürrheim and Donaueschingen, as the organizers announced on Wednesday. The organizers plan to announce further details at an event in Villingen-Schwenningen on 8 December.
The championships had already been held at both locations this year. Former Tour de France fourth-placed Emanuel Buchmann won the road cycling championship for the second time. Liane Lippert defended her title in the women's category. Nils Politt became time trial champion, while Mieke Kröger was the fastest rider in the women's race against the clock.
Cycling enthusiasts are looking forward to the German Road Cycling Championship returning to the Black Forest in 2024. Participants in the upcoming competition will join the esteemed ranks of Emanuel Buchmann and Liane Lippert, who both claimed victories in this year's championships.
