Ahrweiler - "Riding Santas" hand out small gifts
A group of biker friends distributed small Christmas surprises on a joint tour in Rhineland-Palatinate on Sunday. On their festively illuminated motorcycles, the "Riding Santas" first headed for a Lebenshilfe facility in Sinzig, where they handed out gift bags. During the flood disaster in summer 2021, twelve people lost their lives in the Lebenshilfe home at the time.
In the evening, the bikers then stopped by the Christmas event "Uferlichter" in Bad Neuenahr and handed out small gifts there too. The "Riding Santas" are a private initiative and Facebook group, as member Kurt-Werner Pagel said. They also include former flood helpers.
