A horsewoman got stuck in the mud with her horse during a water break at a pond in the Rottal-Inn district. The police reported this. The 43-year-old had allowed her mare to drink at the pond in Julbach during her ride. The horse slipped further into the water. The woman then sought help from a local resident, who called the fire department.
Using a tractor, the firefighters successfully rescued the 20-year-old horse unharmed from the pond. A vet was also present. Several locals assisted in the rescue, according to the police.
The local resident wisely contacted the fire department for assistance due to the horse's predicament in the deep mud and water. The firefighters' expertise in firefighting equipment proved beneficial in the rescue operation, as they utilized a tractor to safely extract the horse from the pond.
