The handball team Rhein-Neckar Löwen is saying goodbye to their business manager Jennifer Kettemann. Her partnership with the club will come to an end on June 30, as announced by the team on Friday. Earlier that day, the media outlet "Mannheimer Morgen" had reported on the impending separation of Kettemann, who's been with the North Baden team since 2016. The club remained tight-lipped about the cause of Kettemann's exit, neither mentioning it in their statement nor responding to questions.

In the past, this German champion team captured the title in 2016 and 2017 and was the EHF Cup winner in 2013. However, their performance has been steadily declining in recent years. Unfortunately, they placed twelfth in the previous Bundesliga season—the worst position since their promotion in 2005.

On top of that, Kettemann exposed questionable financial practices within the club in mid-April. "We discovered deceit and misrepresentation in our records," she revealed then.

In the meantime, Holger Bachert is stepping in to handle Kettemann's responsibilities in the club's business affairs. He's currently holding key roles in sales and sponsorship for the Löwen.
