"Reichsbürger" trial - Reuß trial continues with statements from the defendants

The Frankfurt Terror Trial concerning the alleged "Reichsbürger" Group will continue on Thursday (trial commencement 9.30 am) with statements from the defendants. Hans-Joachim H. and, if time permits, the former AfD Bundestag member Birgit Malsack-Winkemann will have an opportunity to speak, as well as the attorney for the alleged ringleader Heinrich XIII. Prinz Reuß, who has announced a statement on behalf of his client.

In the interrogations so far, the focus has not been on the charges. The defendants are initially expected to speak about their personal relationships, biographies, and financial and family situations.

Charge: Knowingly Causing Death

Nine suspects are accused in Frankfurt of being members of a terrorist organization or supporting it. It is alleged that they planned an armed coup. The defendants are accused of knowingly causing death, according to the indictment. Until the verdict, the defendants are presumed innocent. In addition, two further proceedings in Munich and Stuttgart require 26 alleged co-conspirators to answer for their actions in this complex.
