Marco Reus bids adieu to Borussia Dortmund with a sentimental note on Instagram. "It's time to let go of the black and yellow jersey now. An exciting journey beckons me. I'll cherish these colors in my heart and rally for you from far and wide," he wrote.

The heartbreaking loss of the Champions League final against Real Madrid wasn't the resolution we all craved, but what an extraordinary and delightful journey it was! Unfortunately, Marco's contract with BVB wasn't renewed and he intends to carry his career abroad.

He expressed his gratitude towards the Dortmund fan base, "We've grown as one through the years, sharing the highs and lows. For that, I'm eternally thankful." Reus further shared that he'll miss his teammates as well as BVB's staff. "Take care, we'll reunite again."
