Animals - Retired customs service dog finds drugs on a walkabout
A retired service dog sniffed out drugs while out for a walk in Stuttgart. The 11-year-old animal was walking past a distribution box with its 34-year-old mistress, a customs officer, when the dog suddenly sniffed, a police spokeswoman said on Thursday. The officer then looked at the box and found several small bags attached with adhesive tape containing a total of around 20 grams of hashish. Alerted police officers seized the bags on Wednesday. It was initially unclear where they came from.
