The Freiburg district of Kappel has received a health warning about its water supply due to bacterial contamination. This warning, issued by the health department, only applies to the upper Kappel Valley. If you live in this area, you'll need to boil your tap water before using it. To do this, heat the water until it's simmering and then let it cool down for at least ten minutes. Roughly 2,700 people reside in the affected region.
