An unexplained fire erupted on the seventh floor of an eleven-story building in Cottbus city center's Karl-Marx-Straße, resulting in the street being blocked off. On Friday morning, the fire occurred in the building, and according to a police spokesperson, they announced the news at lunchtime....

To begin with, at first glance, there are no reported casualties. The people living in the building have been successfully escorted to safety. Firefighting efforts are still underway in the midday on Friday. Commuters are encouraged to avoid the entire downtown area.
