Municipality of Landshut - Rescued Canaries Extracted from Final Waste Dumpster
Amidst the Bavarian town of Vilsbiburg, a pair of Canary birds were freed from the trash heap. A local resident found these fowls in their waste bin on a chilly Thursday night, according to the police report that came out on Saturday. The birds were housed in a container, which was itself enclosed within a large plastic bucket. The authorities are currently probing for a potential breach of animal welfare laws.
