- Reports: misconduct at BVB before the out?

Borussia Dortmund, a Bundesliga football club, appears to be experiencing tensions at the top, according to matching media reports. The "WAZ" writes that there are increasing tensions between sporting director Sebastian Kehl and technical director Sven Mislintat. According to the "Ruhr Nachrichten", the issue is about "power struggles and overstepping boundaries in areas of responsibility". The internal accusations are reportedly so serious that further cooperation seems impossible, according to a "Bild" report.

Mislintat in the spotlight

The 51-year-old Mislintat is at the center of the criticism. The relationship between the new head coach Nuri Sahin (35) and returnee Mislintat is reportedly completely strained. The new coach has banned him from the pitch. Mislintat is said to have entered the pitch during a training session and made an appearance in front of TV cameras. Sahin is said to have reacted very angrily, and the club has issued a ban. Mislintat had already worked for BVB from 2006 to 2017. The former head scout returned to BVB as technical director before the season. In terms of hierarchy, Mislintat is subordinate to the 44-year-old sporting director Kehl. Dortmund is currently in a training camp in Bad Ragaz, Switzerland.

Nuri Sahin's relationship with Mislintat is strained, leading him to ban Mislintat from the pitch during training. Despite being a former and current key figure at Borussia Dortmund, Mislintat's actions have resulted in disciplinary measures from the new head coach.
