A 26-year-old resident in Ducherow has initiated a criminal probe following the utilization of a Reichskriegsflagge bearing a swastika as a window decoration. Authorities became aware of the unusual window treatment in a shared dwelling on Monday due to a concerned tip-off.
Agents from the Anklam police department in the Vorpommern-Greifswald region didn't just seize the Reichskriegsflagge with the swastika but also promptly pinpointed the 26-year-old occupant. The suspect is no stranger to the law enforcement.
Investigations are now underway against him for employing insignia of unlawful organizations.
