Arms Industry - Renk and Iveco agree to cooperate

Transmission manufacturer Renk and Italian truck and tank builder Iveco have agreed on a collaboration in drive systems for tracked vehicles. The goal is to jointly utilize the know-how of both companies in development and production, strengthen the European supply chain, increase production capacity, and explore potential for future combat platforms, they announced on Friday in Augsburg and Turin.

In this collaboration, Renk and Iveco aim to enhance their Defence capabilities by integration of drive systems in tracked vehicles. This partnership could lead to the development of more robust and advanced combat platforms in the future.
