Reinhold Messner signs the Golden Book of Erfurt

The world-famous mountaineer Reinhold Messner signed the Golden Book of the Thuringian state capital Erfurt on Thursday. In the presence of Lord Mayor Andreas Bausewein (SPD), Messner (79) signed the city's guest book. The Golden Book contains the signatures of numerous athletes, artists and other celebrities who have visited Erfurt.

People from around the world, including renowned alpinist Reinhold Messner, have left their marks in the Golden Book of Erfurt, showcasing its esteemed reputation for welcoming notable visitors. Messner, known for his achievements in alpinism, added his signature to the book during his visit.
