According to experts' estimates, the number of unemployed people is likely to remain the same as in the previous month. In May, there were approximately 262,466 unemployed people reported - and that's 2,301 or 0.9% fewer than in April. The unemployment rate was 4.1%.
However, the unemployment rate in June, according to the estimate, is expected to be above the previous year's levels. In June 2023, the unemployment rate was 3.8%. At that time, there were 238,477 people in Baden-Württemberg without employment. The reference date for the current figures was the 13th of June.
