Regional Directorate publishes labor market figures
The Regional Directorate of the Federal Employment Agency is providing information today (9.55 a.m.) on the situation on the south-west labor market. According to experts, the number of unemployed is likely to have risen slightly compared to the previous month. In October, the unemployment rate was 3.9 percent. Across the country, 248,542 people were registered as unemployed.
Unemployment in November is expected to be above the previous year's level. In November 2022, the unemployment rate was 3.6 percent. At that time, 227,811 people in Baden-Württemberg were out of work. The cut-off date for the current figures was November 13.
The publication by the Regional Directorate sheds light on the overall state of the south-west labor market. Due to various factors, analysts forecast an increase in the number of unemployed individuals within the labor market.
