Regional Directorate publishes labor market figures
The Bavarian Regional Directorate of the Federal Employment Agency is publishing its labor market statistics for November today (9.55 am). Experts expect the labor market to have deteriorated further due to economic developments. Various early indicators point to a declining willingness to hire among companies. The cut-off date for the latest statistics was November 13.
In October, unemployment in Bavaria had fallen for seasonal reasons - mainly due to the start of the training and academic year. However, the autumn upturn was less pronounced than in the previous year: in October, 251,867 people were out of work in Bavaria, 8.4 percent more than a year earlier.
The publication of the labor market figures by the Bavarian Regional Directorate may reveal a continuation of the negative trend predicted by experts. With the latest statistics covering up to November 13, we can gain insights into the current state of the Bavarian labor market.
