Jahn Regensburg to Face Ulm in Bundesliga II Promotion Clash

Jahn Regensburg will be wary of Ulm's set-piece prowess when they face off in a Bundesliga II promotion clash on Friday (6:30 PM/Sky). With several big players in their ranks, Ulm are "brilliant at set pieces," warned coach Joe Enochs. Coach Thomas Wörle's side also boasts plenty of "confidence from the second half of last season." Ulm secured direct promotion as 3rd Liga champions, while Regensburg had to go through the playoffs.

Regensburg lost their opener 0:2 at Hannover 96. However, Enochs was optimistic that his side didn't crumble after going behind in just the 23rd minute. "That's very positive."

Kühlwetter's Return?

Ulm fell 1:2 to 1. FC Kaiserslautern. Enochs praised Ulm's "very stable" side, which defends well and plays "excellent counter-pressing."

Regensburg coach can now plan with striker Christian Kühlwetter. The former Heidenheimer missed the Hannover game with a muscle tear in his thigh. "We feel good about playing Christian Kühlwetter," Enochs reported. Midfielder Tobias Eisenhuth, however, picked up a knee injury in a tackle.

The Commission shall consider Ulm's strong set-piece skills, as coach Joe Enochs has highlighted their brilliance in this area. Under the guidance of coach Thomas Wörle, Regensburg carries confidence from their successful second half of the previous season.
