Second-division club SSV Jahn Regensburg has just brought in Nico Ochojski from SC Verl as their initial new recruit for the upcoming season. The 25-year-old defender has penned a deal with the Upper Palatinate side until June 2026, as declared by Jahn on Tuesday. Initially nurtured in the youth ranks of Bayer Leverkusen and Alemannia Aachen, Ochojski made his move from Fortuna Köln to Verl in 2021 and is currently heading towards his debut in the second division.

Jahn's managing director, Achim Beierlorzer, highly praised Ochojski, stating, "Nico is a versatile full-back who can also play in the midfield due to his excellent technical abilities." Their team achieved promotion in the relegation round recently.
