Unknown individuals placed a decapitated pig's head on the boundary fence of a refugee shelter situated in Lower Bavaria. As per police declarations, an employee from the refugee center in Pfarrkirchen, part of Rottal-Inn district, reported the disturbing event to the authorities.

Initial analyses suggested that the head was affixed between Thursday night and Friday morning. The department handling state security crimes within the Passau Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has now taken charge of the investigation, and anyone who may have witnessed the event is encouraged to provide information.
