- Red Star Belgrade's Report Delivered to Silas in Stuttgart

Troublesome footballer Silas might yet depart Bundesliga team VfB Stuttgart this summer, as per a news piece. Supposedly, Red Star Belgrade is eyeing the 25-year-old. The Serbian titans are reportedly deep in negotiations with Silas' management, according to Sky TV. The transfer market in Serbia closes on September 13th. Interestingly, Belgrade is set to face Stuttgart in the Champions League.

Post-match conversation with VfB coach Sebastian Hoeneß following the 3:3 stalemate against 1. FSV Mainz 05 on Saturday revealed his expectation for Silas to stick around. However, sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth expressed Silas' future as an 'open' matter. Media from Stuttgart hinted at a transfer for the national player being a possibility as early as last Friday.

Silas transferred to VfB from Paris FC in the summer of 2019, swiftly endearing himself to the fans. Lately, though, his position has seen a decline.

Despite the coach's hopes for Silas to remain, the sporting director has left Silas' future at VfB as an open matter, potentially leading to his transfer. The news of Red Star Belgrade's interest in Silas continues to gain traction, with negotiations reportedly ongoing.
