Record handball champion THW Kiel extends contract with Nikola Bilyk

Even before the Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain, the North Germans have good news for the fans. Backcourt player Bilyk will stay with THW until 2026.

Sport - Record handball champion THW Kiel extends contract with Nikola Bilyk

Record handball champions THW Kiel have extended the contract with Austrian international Nikola Bilyk. As the club announced on Thursday ahead of the Champions League home game against Paris Saint-Germain, the 27-year-old backcourt player will remain with the North Germans until June 30, 2026.

"He has developed from a promising talent to a real top performer with us. His role on and off the pitch is growing and he is an important part of our plans for a successful future," said THW Managing Director Viktor Szilagyi about his compatriot, who has played for Kiel since 2016. Bilyk himself added: "It's a huge honor for me every day to be able to play for the hottest club in the world."
