Champions League - Real icon Butragueño: Leipzig has a "great mentality"
Real Madrid striker legend Emilio Butragueño is expecting two tough matches against RB Leipzig in the last 16 of the Champions League. "They have a great mentality, are physically strong and quick in attack," said the 60-year-old, recalling the two group games last year: "They were two very tough and evenly matched games. We expect the same in the round of 16."
Leipzig lost 0:2 in Madrid, but won 3:2 at home. The Saxons will host the record winners of the top flight again on February 13, with the second leg taking place at the renovated Estadio Santiago Bernabéu on March 6. Real are clearly the favorites, as Butragueño also sees it. "Logically, our goal is to reach the quarter-finals. We have to play two good games," said the 69-time Spanish international. Butragueño has played over 450 games for the Whites and is now a representative of the club.
