Soccer Bundesliga - RB Leipzig loans young professional Eduardo

RB Leipzig loans out young prodigy Yannick Eduardo to Dutch second-tier side De Graafschap. The Bundesliga club announced this on Thursday. The 18-year-old, who signed a professional contract until 30. June 2027 in January after impressive performances in the Youth League (5 goals), was outstanding in the German U-19 Bundesliga with 19 goals and three assists. The striker also recently played for the Dutch U18 national team.

"Yannick Eduardo is now ready to prove himself in the licensed player area. The loan to De Graafschap is perfect for Yannick and us for his best possible development. He will play in the first team and should gather as much playing experience as possible there", said RB Sport Director Rouven Schröder about Eduardo, who joined RB Leipzig's youth setup from NEC Nijmegen in the summer of 2022.
