"Rave The Planet" moves through Berlin again in August
The next edition of the techno spectacle "Rave The Planet" in Berlin is set to take place next August. Preparations for the large-scale party demo are in full swing following a successful fundraising campaign, among other things, the organizers announced on Tuesday. The techno parade under the motto "Love Is Stronger" is planned for August 17, 2024. Until the end of January, cultural professionals - for example clubs, festivals or artists - can still apply for the event with a music truck.
According to the organizers, the parade is intended to "promote the preservation of electronic music and club culture" and also send a signal for peace. According to the police, around 200,000 techno fans celebrated with Love Parade founder Dr. Motte at "Rave The Planet" this July. Until the very end, the event had been on the brink of collapse due to the security concept.
The parade will feature a diverse range of electronic music played from various music trucks along the route. Despite the challenges, the scene at "Rave The Planet" was fixed and filled with passion, reflecting the enduring love for techno music.
