Ramelow and Hoff explain their personnel policy

Prime Minister Bodo Ramelow and State Chancellery Head Benjamin-Immanuel Hoff (both Left Party) will be the first high-ranking government representatives to testify before the state parliament's committee of inquiry into the Free State's personnel policy on Monday. The hearing was requested by the opposition CDU parliamentary group. Hoff and Ramelow will be questioned by the committee in the late afternoon (from 4.30 pm).

The committee of inquiry, which began its work this summer, is to investigate possible misconduct in the state government's personnel policy. The State Court of Audit had accused the state government of systematic and serious breaches of rules on the recruitment of civil servants.

The state parliament's committee of inquiry is examining the Free State's personnel policy, with Prime Minister Ramelow and State Chancellery Head Hoff set to provide their testimonies. These personal details of government representatives will be crucial in addressing allegations of misconduct in the recruitment of civil servants, as outlined by the State Court of Audit.
