Weather - Rainy and mild in Thuringia - wintry in the mountains

After mild temperatures and frequent rain, it will be a little cooler in Thuringia over the next few days. Nevertheless, it will initially remain a little wintry in the mountains at best, according to the German Weather Service in Leipzig. After seven to nine degrees on Wednesday, more rain will move through from north to south during the night, with the first snowflakes falling in the ridges of the mountains.

The sky will remain mostly cloudy on Thursday. Occasional showers will fall as snow in the mountains. Temperatures will only reach two to four degrees, zero to two degrees in the mountains. There will be some snow during the night and drizzle in the lowlands. It will be similar on Friday with four to six degrees. It will rain from time to time, with some snow drizzle in the mountains at zero to four degrees.
