Weather - Rain and milder temperatures forecast

Lots of clouds and rain will characterize the weather in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland this Tuesday. According to the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach, the rain could turn to snow in the mountains from the afternoon. Temperatures will be between three and six degrees, and two degrees in the mountains.

At night, it will continue to snow in the mountains and there will be light frost locally in the Eifel - it will be as cold as minus one degree. According to the DWD, it will also be very cloudy on Wednesday. Light rain or sleet will fall at times, with snow in the mountains. Temperatures will be between zero degrees in the Westerwald and five degrees on the Moselle.
