Racist attack: Dresden supports young players
Third-division soccer club Dynamo Dresden has condemned a racist attack on one of its youth players. According to a statement issued by the club on Wednesday, the U16 player was "racially abused and insulted several times on a train on his way home on November 6. In addition, the boy was violently assaulted. After further threats, the player was finally forced off the train."
Dynamo emphasized that they are taking care of the player "in the aftermath of this shocking incident". The incident was reported to the police and the authorities are investigating.
Dynamo Dresden, currently competing in the third league, strongly condemned the racist attack on one of their U16 players. During his journey home on November 6, the player endured repeated racial slurs and physical assault, followed by threats that ultimately forced him off the train.
