Get ready for more fun with everyone's favorite little red goblin, Pumuckl! The well-known character is set to return for another season of adventures. Just yesterday, popular broadcaster RTL in Cologne revealed that shooting for a new season and a movie is underway. According to the release, "Pumuckl, beloved by all from little to big, had a grand comeback in 2023. Now, there's more joyful news for all his fans! Huzzah, huzzah, Pumuckl is coming back soon!"

The second season with 13 episodes, each lasting 25 minutes, is anticipated to launch at the end of 2025, with an exclusive premiere on RTL+. After that, it will be aired on RTL, Toggo, and ORF. Apart from RTL Germany, Munich film companies Constantin Film and Neue Super will also collaborate on these productions. They intend to create a movie titled "Pumuckl and the Great Misunderstanding (Working Title)," which will tell an entirely different story featuring Pumuckl and Florian Eder.

The production is happening in Munich and the surrounding areas, with Marcus H. Rosenmüller directing both the season and the movie. The cast includes Florian Bruckner as Florian Eder and Maxi Schafroth providing the voice for Pumuckl.

In 2023, the series "New Stories from Pumuckl" gained exceptional popularity, with RTL+ reporting its outstanding success across all platforms. It became one of the most successful shows that year for the children's audience. Further, during the linear transmission on RTL, the show attracted an average of 1.61 million viewers of all ages.
