Soccer - Puma terminates contract with Israeli national team 2024
The sporting goods manufacturer Puma will end its collaboration with the Israeli national soccer team next year. The decision has already been made for 2022, a company spokesperson announced on Tuesday in Herzogenaurach. The media had previously reported this.
"An analysis of the current portfolio of the national teams based on certain success criteria such as commercial factors or participation in major international tournaments led to some changes," the spokesperson explained. Accordingly, the contracts with some associations such as Serbia and Israel will expire in 2024. "This decision was already made in 2022 as part of the usual schedule for the design and production of the jerseys," it continued.
