Public viewing in Bad Säckingen canceled

After Freudenstadt, another town in Baden-Württemberg is now canceling its public viewing. The German Weather Service had predicted heavy thunderstorms, hail and masses of rain.

Due to risk of severe weather - Public viewing in Bad Säckingen canceled

In Bad-Saäckingen, in the Waldshut-Tiengen district, a Public Viewing was cancelled due to weather conditions. The reason given was the forecasted thunderstorm, heavy rain, and hail, the police announced on Saturday. The event was to take place in the city's Schlosspark. In their statement, the police asked people to avoid visiting the area.

Previously, Freudenstadt had already cancelled its Public Viewing after consultation with the German Weather Service (DWD) and the fire department. Meteorologists at the DWD predict that in western Baden-Württemberg on Saturday evening, there will be gale-force winds, large hail, and heavy rain.
