Tickets on the Verkehrs-Aktiengesellschaft Nürnberg (VAG) network will cost more in the new year. On average, prices will increase by 7.74 percent from January, as the VAG announced on Tuesday. A one-way ticket for adults, for example, will cost 25 cents more (3.25 euros) in online sales in future. Passengers will pay 3.70 euros at ticket machines, an increase of 30 cents. One-way tickets will also become more expensive for children. In addition, according to the VAG, the "Solo 31 Nuremberg Pass" can only be purchased until the end of the year. Its successor is the "Deutschlandticket Nürnberg-Pass", which is already available. This is worthwhile for anyone who travels several times a week.
